Who are New Approach Partnership?

The New Approach Partnership was formed by husband and wife team Darren and Jacky Ling in October 2013. Through our core business we provide a comprehensive business development, sales, account management, customer care and consultancy service for our clients.

Together we have in excess of 55 years’ experience in the business development arena, selling into a diverse cross section of market sectors. As well as winning new business in both B2B and B2C sales, recruiting, managing and developing teams we also have a family small business heritage, ‘it is in our blood!!’ Over the years our experience and expertise has been honed as much from our mistakes and failures as from our successes and we both have a passion and enthusiasm for what we do, in short we love it!

Our Vision

Our vision is to contribute to the success of our clients businesses either by working directly with your prospects and clients through a collaborative and integrated approach that will support you in achieving your business growth goals. Or by sharing our experience and expertise through our Business Growth Landscaper product range. This is an online business development toolkit that is affordable and easy to use created specifically for the small business or sole trader who would appreciate a sales map with some practical tools to guide them through the unfamiliar territory of attracting and retaining the right customers for them.

jackylingJacky is a business development professional with 30 years’ experience in a variety of roles, businesses and market sectors in the UK. Jacky cut her teeth in the family business many years ago calling pubs, restaurants, shops and tourists attractions for their chilled and frozen food orders, upselling and cross selling from the wide product range. Since then Jacky has worked in telesales, account management and sales management roles in Finance, Advertising and Online businesses to name a few. For the last 10+ years Jacky’s background has been in the Management Consulting and Professional Training & Coaching Industries for which she has a particular passion. Jacky has a proven record of winning quality contracts within a wide range of industries from public sector, pharmaceutical, science and technology, service, utilities and manufacturing. Both within Blue Chip organisations and SME’s as well as experience in selling low value high volume products direct to the end user. Jacky has a creative collaborative style with a focus on achieving long term customer loyalty through listening too, and understanding customer needs.

darrenlingDarren is an experienced Contract Sales Director who has developed a highly respected reputation within the building services sector as a project manager and problem solver. Before developing his career within the HVAC sector Darren also cut his teeth working in the family business many years ago assisting taking a new concept of power generation from waste products to the market, establishing trail sites at water companies and power generation companies. Later Darren established his own local delivery business delivering livestock and animal feeds door to door in his local area. He built the business from nothing by cold calling and offering a reliable regular service ultimately selling the business as a going concern. Over the past 20+ years Darren has developed his long experience and influence in the ventilation hygiene marketplace. He has a proven record of selling and managing high value and profitable sales at multiple levels within a wide range of industries from healthcare, pharmaceutical, construction, FM, public sector, airport, restaurants and end users. Darren has a positive proactive style with strong opinions and as a result has had many published articles. He has an ability to inspire colleagues and clients alike and believes in hard work and dedication to the cause no matter how tough the conditions.

Both Darren and Jacky share a passion for horse racing and get along to the races whenever they can, they also enjoy spending early mornings on the gallops in Newmarket! Jacky enjoys dressage riding and has aspirations to own her own Lipizzaner. Darren dreams of owning a Cheltenham Gold Cup winner! Meanwhile they enjoy spending their leisure time with family and friends and walking their three dogs generally referred to as the black & tan gang.
